Join us this year for another hands-on Yule wreath making class where we’ll explore the rich symbolism of this timeless tradition. Wreaths, derived from the word writhen (meaning “to twist”), have held deep spiritual significance for thousands of years, with evergreens representing the enduring power of nature. In this workshop, you’ll create your own wreath using locally sourced natural elements, each chosen to symbolize the four elements- earth, air, fire, and water. Reflect on what draws you to specific materials and uncover their deeper meaning in your life. This mindful and creative practice offers a beautiful way to connect with Nature, yourself, and the community during the Yule season. bio: Sara Villani is a community and clinical folk herbalist whose approach blends medicinal plants and spiritual practice. Sara specializes in astrological herbalism for the holistic management of chronic illness, our bioregional plant medicines, and she is also an IAYT certified trauma-informed somatic healer.
